Master of Accountancy

Courses

Fall Semester courses begin in late August and Spring Semester courses in mid January. Summer Session 1 classes begin in mid-May and are completed by June 30. Due to possible course rotations between semesters, students may start the program only in August or January. Students will choose between the Assurance Track and Tax Track - course sequences for each track are listed below.

Assurance Track Course Sequence

  • ACCT 551 – Assurance Services
  • ACCT 591B – Income Tax II or ACCT 561 – Governmental Accounting

Spring Semester

  • ACCT 501 – Accounting Decision Making
  • ACCT 541 – Income Tax Research
  • ACCT 571 – Accounting and Business Consulting
  • ACCT 591C – Advanced Tech for Accounting

Summer Semester

  • ACCT 581 – Fraud Investigation
  • ACCT 582 – Fraud Data Analysis
