Roll of Distinguished Alumni
Royce Harworth Keller
Royce Keller was born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia. She entered WVU in the fall of 1963 and completed course work in Finance and Accounting in 3 ½ years.
In January of 1967, Keller began her career in public accounting in Chicago. She was hired as one of only two women on the professional staff of Price
Waterhouse as a junior staff auditor. After one year, she learned that there were no advancement opportunities
for a woman at that firm. She contacted
Arthur Andersen where she had also received a job offer and joined their tax
staff. At that time, there was only one
other woman in the tax department professional staff. Keller specialized in investment partnerships and was the tax manager at the time of her departure.
In 1975, Keller returned to Morgantown, raised three boys and provided tax services to family and friends.
In 1985, Keller accepted the position of Vice President of Finance and Administration for Alpha Associates, an architectural and engineering firm located in Morgantown. In 1996, she accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer for CLG, an international consulting firm headquartered in Pittsburgh. At CLG, she helped the firm to expand from $5 million in revenues to $35 million and a sale of the firm to a publicly traded company and ultimately a repurchase of the company by the employees. She retired from CLG in 2010 after serving as Board Chair.
Keller has served as the Chair of the WVU Alumni Association Board of Directors; was named Most Loyal Alumni Mountaineer and currently serves on the Mon Health Medical Center Foundation Board.
