Management undergraduates show what they know

Being a management undergraduate is pretty tough on a normal day. Assignments require thoughtful hard work, and there's lots of reading, tests and quizzes.

Truer words have never been said than those by Penelope "Penni" Roll, 1988 graduate of the WVU College of Business & Economics and CFO for Ares Capital Corporation, as she addressed the class of 2013 at Commencement on May 18.

U.S. News ranks B&E #5 in Best Online Business Programs for veterans

The West Virginia University College of Business and Economics (B&E) has again received national recognition for its commitment to the military.

U.S. News & World Report has ranked B&E #5 in the nation in the Best Online Programs for Veterans for its online MBA program. This national ranking comes on the heels of a #9 national ranking for B&E by Bloomberg Businessweek in April for its undergraduate return on investment (ROI), a #12 national ranking in March by Military Times in the "Best for Vets: Business Schools" list and a #29 national ranking by U.S. News in its 2013 Best Online Graduate Business Programs in January.
