The Chambers College offers extensive engagement opportunities for our alumni, friends, and industry partners, whether virtual, on-campus, or on the road! Let’s chat about ways to support the next generation of business leaders.
Ways to Engage
We can connect you with a single volunteer opportunity or build a custom campus agenda combining multiple activities into one trip. The Center for Career Development handles scheduling, student preparation, and follow-up. Most activities can be delivered virtually or on-campus, with options to host students at your workplace.

| Mock Interviews | Run practice interviews or join a mock interview day and give feedback in your field. | 30 min to half day |
| Case Competitions | Provide real-time feedback to student teams preparing for regional and national case competitions, or judge an on-campus student case, pitch, or sales competition. | 1 hour to half day |

| Events and Networking | Attend on-campus networking events, such as conferences, industry nights, or professional image dinners, or represent your employer at the Business Career and Internship Fair. | 2 hours to half day |
| Job Shadows and Industry Site Visits | Host students at your employer to offer a behind-the-scenes look at life in your industry, city, and more. Group sizes vary from 1-26 students. | 1 to 3 hours |
| Externships | Host an externship, which is a 1-2-day immersive experience where students work alongside an employer on a real-world project, gaining a realistic job preview, hands-on skills, industry knowledge, and professional connections. | 1 to 2 days |
| Course and Client Projects | Explore opportunities for students to help your organization solve a real problem under the supervision and leadership of a trained faculty member. The Chambers College offers several student consulting organizations as well as client projects embedded into courses. | Varies |
| Skills Workshops | Lead a short, practical session on a skill your team uses, such as Excel, financial modeling, or data visualization. Works as a class session, a co-led CCD workshop, or a bootcamp for underclassmen. | 1 hour to all day |
