Jodi Goodman’s current research interests include learning processes that contribute to the development of adaptive expertise; tensions arising from companies pursuing economic goals and social goals; organizational responses to public policy, competitive, and market environments; and research methodology. Her work appears in scholarly journals, such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Organizational Research Methods, and Personnel Psychology.

Goodman serves as an associate editor for Group and Organization Management and is on the editorial boards of Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Research Methods, and Journal of Organizational Behavior.  She also has served on the editorial boards of Personnel Psychology and Applied Psychology: An International Review.  She is a founding member of the Evidence-Based Management Collaborative and a fellow of the Center for Evidence-Based Management.

Goodman has taught courses in research methods, statistics, organizational behavior, training and development, and small business consulting.  Her teaching spans the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels.
