Roll of Distinguished Alumni
Each year, the John Chambers College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University recognizes outstanding graduates through induction into its Roll of Distinguished Alumni. Honorees have always represented a variety of industries and areas of the business world.
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
- An alumnus of the College
- At least 10 years post-degree
- Distinguished themselves by success in business or life at the regional, national or international level
The WVU John Chambers College of Business & Economics initiated this award in 2011 to coincide with the College's 60th Anniversary Celebration. New members are added each year as the College recognizes the tremendous successes of its graduates.
The College has helped mold countless successful careers in areas such as business, government and academia; the creation and growth of new enterprises; and the development of opportunities for the well-being of West Virginians and people around the world. Our inductees will serve as a reflection of those successful careers, as well as role models for our students.

Mark Bowe
Owner of Barnwood Living and Host of television program Barnwood Builders
2024 Inductee
Mark Bowe worked his way through West Virginia University as a coal miner, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a craftsman, a businessman, a historian, and a passable break-dancer (if you give him enough room). Bowe also holds a master’s degree in safety management from WVU's John Chambers College of Business and Economics.

Erika Cramer
Co-Founder and Managing Partner for How Women Invest LLC
2024 Inductee
Erika Cramer is a co-founder and managing partner for How Women Invest LLC, a gender lens venture firm investing in tech-enabled startups. She is a 25-year veteran investment banker in the financial services industry, having focused on mergers and acquisitions within the asset management, wealth advisory and fintech solution sectors.

President and Co-Founder of Ashe Capital Management, LP

William R. Harker is president and co-founder of Ashe Capital Management, LP, a hedge fund he helped establish in 2013.

John Reale
Senior Vice President and General Manager of Pepsi Beverages North Division Leadership Team
2024 Inductee
Thirty-six year PepsiCo veteran John M. Reale is senior vice president and general manager of the Purchase, NY-based Pepsi Beverages North Division Leadership Team.

Jack Rossi
Executive Vice President of Business Development for Summit Community Bank
2024 Inductee
Jack Rossi grew up in rural Randolph County in the small town of Coalton, WV, where he graduated from Coalton High School. Mr. Rossi then graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting. As a distinguished military graduate from WVU, Rossi attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army where he served a tour of duty in Vinh Leong, South Vietnam.
