The New Virtual Career Fair Experience
At a Handshake virtual career fair, you will have two different ways to connect directly with employers:
- Five 30-minute group meetings that accommodate up to 50 students each. Multiple recruiters can attend, talk with students, and share their screen.
- 10-minute 1:1 meetings with students hosted by up to 15 recruiters. Each recruiter can set their own schedule and choose qualifications students must meet to attend.

To ensure that your experience is as amazing as possible, Handshake asked students and employers what they liked and didn't like about their past virtual career fair experiences—and they designed their new platform to meet all your expectations.
Register and Sign Up for Sessions
In order to sign up for sessions with employers, you must be registered for the fair. To sign up for Group or 1:1 sessions, your profile privacy will need to be set to Community or Employers.

Complete Your Profile
You can drive up your profile completion thus making your profile more appealing to employers by filling out all the different areas of your profile!
Connect Your Way
All sessions will have the option for Handshake video, audio and text based chat. There is no customization for types of interaction; it is up to the employer and student joining the session to determine how they would like to connect.
