Expertise

Rachel oversees undergraduate recruitment and retention initiatives at the Chambers College. She coordinates the business school's first year seminar course (BCOR 191), is responsible for the administration of undergraduate scholarships, and supports enrollment management. She created and oversees the Chambers Peer Mentorship program and teaches its associated course, BCOR 490.
 

Her dissertation research focused on retention factors affecting rural, first-generation, low-income college students.

She oversees a team that works with academically at-risk students, the Chambers Ambassador Program, academic support services such as the Neidermeyer Scholar supplemental instruction program, and the CLIMB Living Learning Community. She provides direction for recruitment communications and travel, on-campus recruitment events, and assists with campus visits.

Rachel has been with Chambers since May 2012, and previously held roles in undergraduate recruitment and communications and marketing.
