B&E students reign as king, queen over WVU Homecoming

You may not have realized it, but two B&E students were chosen to reign as West Virginia University's 2014 Homecoming king and queen. Matt Elder and Rachel Poe were crowned during halftime of the WVU-Kansas football game on October 4 at Milan Puskar Stadium.

Gavin Receives SMA’s Hunt Award


Earlier this fall,  Dr. Mark Gavin associate professor and coordinator of B&E’s Management Ph.D. Program, received the Southern Management Association’s Hunt Sustained Outstanding Service Award. The SMA is an affiliate of the Academy of Management, whose membership consists of roughly 1,000 professors, doctoral students and executives representing more than 200 institutions in 43 states and several countries.
