Dr. Schaupp is currently a professor at West Virginia University. Since his appointment to the faculty in 2008, his primary focus has been within the Business Masters Programs encompassing Masters of Accountancy, Graduate Certificate in Fraud and Forensic Accounting, Master of Business Administration , and the Executive Master of Business Administration.
Dr. Schaupp is a CFE and his primary research interests include website success metrics, e-government adoption, digital forensics, and REA. He has published in several top-tier journals including Communications of the ACM, Information Systems Frontiers, and Journal of Computer Information Systems. He has also presented at several international conferences including Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS) as well as the Hawaiian International Conference on Systems Sciences (HICSS).
Dr. Schaupp possesses an undergraduate degree in accounting from West Virginia University, a Masters of Accounting & Information Systems from Virginia Tech University and Doctor of Philosophy Degree from the Virginia Tech University.
