Dr. Li’s research focuses on empirical asset pricing, pricing models of financial derivatives, financial risk management, and energy finance. She has published in leading finance and economics journals, including the Journal of Banking and Finance, The Financial Review, Energy Economics, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Journal of Commodity Markets, etc.
Dr. Li teaches one Ph.D. course, Asset Pricing, and several undergraduate courses including Derivatives, Investments, Financial Risk Management, and Energy Financial Economics.
Dr. Li currently serves as the Coordinator of the Finance Ph.D. program. She is also a faculty member of the Center for Innovation in Gas Research and Utilization at West Virginia University.
