MBA students to develop UGG “pop-up shop”

Four College of Business and Economics MBA students will be busy this summer traveling to New York City, meeting garment executives and learning the ins and outs of distribution channels for loungewear.

When Michael Bonasso was inducted into Who’s Who in West Virginia Business on May 1, the event was representative of the hard work this B&E alumnus has undertaken all his life.

Hall named 2014-15 president of Association of Private Enterprise Education

The Association of Private Enterprise Education (APEE) has elected Dr. Joshua C. Hall, assistant professor of Economics at the College of Business and Economics, as 2014-15 APEE President.

Commencement 2014

On May 10, the West Virginia University Coliseum was filled with thousands of people as families traveled from near and far to watch more than 600 business and economics students graduate. There were many notable figures present to help celebrate the momentous occasion. 

William “Bill” Sheedy, a 1988 alumnus and Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy, M&A, Government Relations and Europe for Visa, addressed the B&E graduates.
