A. Michael Perry

A. Michael Perry has been a key leader in the West Virginia business, education, and health communities throughout his long career. He helped guide Key Centurion Bancshares, West Virginia's first billion dollar banking organization, through its transitions toward becoming Bank One, West Virginia Corporation, for which he was chairman and CEO.

Before joining Bank One, he was a partner with the law firm Huddleston, Bolen, Beatty, Porter and Copen in Huntington and served as state chairman of the Young Lawyers Section of the West Virginia State Bar. In 1999, he was one of the charter members recognized by the West Virginia Bar Foundation Fellows Program.

A former member of the University System of West Virginia Board of Trustees, his leadership has earned him such honors as being named the Banker of the Decade by the West Virginia Bankers Association and Citizen of the Year by the City of Huntington Foundation.
