Currently CEO of Centurion Insurance Services, Andy’s career history includes being President of the West Virginia Region of Huntington National Bank for over five years.

Prior to joining Huntington Bank, Andy was Vice Chairman of Wells Fargo Insurance Services, USA, and held leadership roles for Wells Fargo Insurance Services (formerly McDonough Caperton Insurance Group and Acordia Mid-Atlantic) for more than thirty (30) years.  He was Managing Director for the Mid-Atlantic Region which had over thirty-five (35) locations and a diverse mix of products including Employee Benefits Claims Administration, Workers’ Compensation claims adjudication, Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty and Bonding Brokerage services.  
Prior to his insurance experience Andy worked in the Governor’s Office of Economic and Community Development, as well as serving as Assistant Director of the West Virginia Civil Service System.
Andy was involved in keeping professional baseball in Charleston and served as Managing Partner of the Charleston Alley Cats.  During his career Andy served on many boards, some of which included the West Virginia Roundtable, the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the West Virginia Banker’s Association, The Foundation for the Thomas Memorial and Saint Francis Hospitals, The Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences of West Virginia, the Girl Scouts Black Diamond Council, Concord University Foundation and Coal Contractors Insurance Limited Board.
Andy was the 1999 recipient of the Italian American Man of the year, was named the 2000 Son of the Year by the West Virginia Society of Washington, DC, was a meritorious inductee into the University of Charleston Hall of Fame in 2008 and was included in the West Virginia State Journal’s Who’s Who in West Virginia Business in 2014.
Paterno earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Economics from Concord College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Charleston.
A lifelong resident of South Charleston, Andy and his wife of forty-five years, Mary Jo, have two grown children and four grandchildren.
