Douglas J. Leech

Douglas J. Leech is Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Centra Financial Holdings, Inc. and Centra Bank, Inc. in Morgantown, WV; formed in 1999 as a community-centered banking company.

Centra, a billion dollar banking company, has been identified as the fastest growing bank in West Virginia…ever, and has achieved a national ranking of third for growth and success of all banks started in the USA since 1999.

Mr. Leech was the former President and CEO of Huntington Banks West Virginia and prior to that served as Executive Vice President and COO for One Valley Bank’s Northern Division. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell, and Co. in Pittsburgh, PA in 1976 prior to entering the West Virginia Banking Industry in 1980. He is an Honors graduate of the Pennsylvania State University.

Doug has held leadership positions in over 30 organizations and has been recognized many times for his contributions and accomplishments. Since coming to Morgantown in 1979 he has made it a priority to assist and get involved in activities that lead to the betterment of our community.
