Frank Alderman
Frank Alderman, MD is the CEO of MedExpress, an innovative outpatient healthcare delivery model.
In founding the company in 2001, Frank sought to provide a customer-service approach to health care and address the need for access to patient-centric, premium quality, affordable care. Under his guidance, MedExpress has experienced exponential growth while maintaining its devotion to treating each patient as if he/she were the only patient.
Frank is a native of West Virginia and holds both a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and a medical degree from West Virginia University. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at WVU and obtained board certification. In 2012, Frank was awarded an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was also the recipient of Ernst and Young’s Venture Capital Award of Excellence, one of three such awards in the country. This year, in addition to his induction into the West Virginia Business Hall of Fame, he has been selected to be a member of WVU School of Pharmacy’s Centennial Hall of Fame. In 2008, he was named one of West Virginia’s “Most Influential.” Frank is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
