Milan Puskar

As founder, chairman, CEO, and president of Mylan Laboratories Inc., Milan Puskar built a business that is one of the great business success stories in West Virginia. Originally only a distributor, Mylan has grown to one of the nation's leading generic pharmaceutical firms.

His achievements have reached well beyond his company to include lending his expertise to the Commission for the Federal Drug Approval Process and to the founding of the Generic Pharmaceutical Industry Association.

He has made significant contributions to his community by sponsoring many projects and endowed chairs at West Virginia University as well as economic development projects in Morgantown, including development of the Morgantown Wharf District through his partnership in Platinum Properties.
