Aaron Winderbaum

Aaron Winderbaum is a Vice President, Fixed Income Trader and Portfolio Manager, specializing in Taxable Money Market Funds at BNY Mellon/Dreyfus. Before joining Dreyfus, he was a Fixed Income Institutional Sales Analyst at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, focusing on Money Market Funds, before advancing to a Portfolio Management Associate role within the Customized Bond Portfolios team.

A first-generation college graduate, Aaron earned his degree in Finance from West Virginia University, where he also pursued coursework in Management Information Systems, sparking a passion for programming. Beyond his career in finance, he is deeply committed to giving back. As President of the Associate Advisory Board and a member of the Finance and Investment Committee for Publicolor—a nonprofit dedicated to empowering New York City youth—he plays a key role in advancing its mission. He actively volunteers as a tutor in multiple subjects and mentors local high school students in financial literacy and career development.

Aaron holds Series 7, 63, and 3 licenses and has passed the CFA Level 1 examination. He is currently a CFA Level 2 Candidate for the August 2025 exam.
