Lifetime Achievement Award

The Chambers College Lifetime Achievement Award, introduced in 2026 as part of the Chambers Honors Ceremony, recognizes individuals whose careers reflect sustained excellence, leadership and meaningful impact in business and beyond. As an inaugural honor, the award sets a standard for celebrating those who have not only achieved professional distinction but have also shaped industries, strengthened communities and advanced the mission and values of Chambers College.

2026 Inductee - Robert “Bob” Reynolds

Since 2008, Reynolds has served as the President and CEO of Putnam Investments, which has offices across the globe. An expert in the financial services industry, Reynolds’ leadership reshaped Putnam with consistent performance and innovative offerings for clients.

Reynolds also serves as Chair of Great-West Lifeco U.S., an insurance-centered financial holding company with global reach.

Reynolds is recognized for his thought leadership on retirement and workplace savings. In 2011 under his leadership, Putnam was named Retirement Leader of the Year. Reynolds also received a Lifetime Achievement Award from PLANSPONSOR magazine for his work in popularizing 401(k) plans.

Staying involved with his alma mater, Reynolds serves as Vice-Chair of the WVU Board of Governors and was a former Chair of the WVU Foundation. He continues to serve on several other nonprofit boards, such as the Concord Museum, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Foundation.

Reynolds graduated from WVU with a focus in 1974. He has also received an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration and was a 2016 inductee of the Roll of Distinguished Alumni — another top Chambers College honor.
