Roll of Distinguished Alumni
Each year, the John Chambers College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University recognizes outstanding graduates through induction into its Roll of Distinguished Alumni. Honorees have always represented a variety of industries and areas of the business world.
Nominations are due on January 10, 2025, and must meet the following criteria:
- An alumnus of the College
- Eleven plus years of professional work experience
- Distinguished themselves by success in business or life at the regional, national, or international level
The WVU John Chambers College of Business & Economics initiated this award in 2011 to coincide with the College's 60th Anniversary Celebration. New members are added each year as the College recognizes the tremendous successes of its graduates.
The College has helped mold countless successful careers in areas such as business, government and academia; the creation and growth of new enterprises; and the development of opportunities for the well-being of West Virginians and people around the world. Our inductees will serve as a reflection of those successful careers, as well as role models for our students.

The unpredictable nature of the industry led him to conduct business and engage with fascinating people and places across the globe.

Scott De Loretta is currently serving as the Executive Director of Human Resources Integrated Manufacturing for the Technology & Operations Division. Previously, he held the position of Executive Human Resources Business Partner for Services Engineering.

Chad Leonard serves as the Chief Business Officer and Head of Market Development at SAP - West. With accountability for business outcomes such as Customer Lifetime Value, industry and innovation agendas, partner activation and demand generation/sales acceleration initiatives, he leads with a focus on Operations and Strategy to ensure long-term health of the West Market.

Dan Slipkovich is a senior healthcare executive with more than 40 years progressive experience serving as Executive Board Chair, CEO, COO and CFO both at a corporate and facility level. He has had direct responsibilities for more than 250 hospitals covering 35 states.
