Jack Rossi grew up in rural Randolph County in the small town of Coalton, WV, where he graduated from Coalton High School. Mr. Rossi then graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting. As a distinguished military graduate from WVU, Rossi attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army where he served a tour of duty in Vinh Leong, South Vietnam.

Rossi began his career in public accounting with the international accounting firm of Peat Marwick Mitchell – now KPMG. He returned to Charleston, WV, where he worked for the regional CPA firm of Arnett & Foster. He served as member-in-charge of the financial institutions practice and was elected as presiding member of the firm for over 10 years prior to his retirement in 2013. Jack began his new chapter in his career as the executive vice president of business development for Summit Financial Group, Inc. During his career Jack has served as a leader in many professional, civic, and charitable organizations and entities. He served terms as a member of the WVU Alumni Association Board of Directors where he served as chairman of the Board and Treasurer. Jack served as chairman of the Board of Directors of the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and was a former president of the West Virginia Board of Accountancy. He served a term as a member of the AICPA Executive CPE committee and served as chairman of the Board of the Charleston Area Alliance. Jack has served as a member of the Mountaineer Athletic Club Advisory Committee and in 2010 was recognized as Volunteer of the Year by the National Association of Athletic Directors Development Association. In June 2017, Jack was awarded the Philanthropy Award by the West Virginia University Foundation. 

Jack is a current member of the John Chambers College of Business and Economics Advisory Committee. He also is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors of REA of Hope Inc and The Kanawha Charleston Humane Association. Jack and his wife, Joy, currently reside full time in Charleston, West Virginia and part-time in Naples, Florida.
