Scott De Loretta is currently serving as the Executive Director of Human Resources Integrated Manufacturing for the Technology & Operations Division. Previously, he held the position of Executive Human Resources Business Partner for Services Engineering.

 In this role, he is responsible for developing the talent strategy, succession development process, and employee relations strategy to drive an obsession with talent, cultural change, and operating effectiveness and efficiency for 11,000 employees across 35 different sites, covering 4 continents, to deliver on an over 5,000 engine backlog.

Scott joined GE in 1997 as part of the Plastics business in Coshocton, Ohio, as a human resources manager. In 1999, he took a role as business human resource manager in Specialty Chemicals in Morgantown, WV. Scott moved to GE Transportation Systems in Erie, PA, in 2002 as a human resources manager. He then took a role as Organization & Staffing (O&S) manager at Transportation Systems before transferring to GE Aviation in 2003. Since then, he has had responsibility for the Combustor CoE, Structures CoE, Rotating Parts CoE, the Unison Engine Components integration, the Unison Industries assimilation, and the Electronics CoE while in the Supply Chain Division. Prior to joining GE, Scott worked for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. in Allentown, Pennsylvania, as an industrial relations manager and senior human resources representative.

Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from West Liberty State College in West Virginia and a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from West Virginia University.

Outside of GE, Scott is a member of St. Susanna Parish, an active WVY Alumni, enjoys spending time with his son Jarett and daughter Jenna. He is also an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and WVU Mountaineer fan, and enjoys all outdoor activities, including sports and golfing.
