Charles Brown

Charles Brown is the Vice President Global Sourcing & Supply Chain at Johnston & Murphy and a 1980 alumnus of the Chambers College with a BSBA in Finance.

Brown's career spanning 40 years has taken him around the world, working in footwear, apparel, sporting goods product creation, global sourcing and supply chain management. Prior to Johnston & Murphy, he worked for industry leading brands such as Nike, Under Armour and Hillerich & Bradsby, manufacturer of the Louisville Slugger.

Brown has remained active with his alma mater as a member of the National Alumni Board of Directors from 2005-2015, chairing the board in 2008-2009. He has also served on the WVU Foundation Board of Directors, and since 2015 has been a member of the Chambers College Supply Chain Management Advisory Council.

In his spare time, Brown is an active fitness walker and hiker who discovers a new city by walking its streets and hiking its trails. He has spent over 15 years coaching youth football and baseball, but his passion as a lifelong Mountaineer has always been following Mountaineer sports. The rest of his time is spent with his wife Mary, traveling internationally, and visiting with family and friends.
