Online Marketing

If you’re interested in business, psychology or social studies, you may be well-suited for Marketing. This major covers everything from advertising to market research, and you can choose from three areas of emphasis to personalize your plan of study. All coursework for this program is completed online.

The Bachelor of Science in Marketing, offered by the John Chambers School of Business and Economics, will prepare you for a successful career as a marketing professional in this constantly evolving industry. Every course in our program emphasizes “learning by doing” and features hands-on, real-world activities to give you the skills you need. Our innovative curriculum will give you a strong background in strategic marketing management and the different elements used by firms and in-house teams. The courses integrate global, societal and sustainability aspects of the marketplace, as well as the public and not-for-profit sector.

    West Virginia University has worked hard to make its programs affordable for military personnel and veterans. WVU is a Yellow Ribbon Program participant, meaning that the university agrees to waive a portion of tuition not covered by the GI Bill. Unlike most universities, WVU participates in the program for all graduate and professional programs. Additionally, the John Chambers College of Business and Economics offers a $100 discount per credit hour to all current and former service personnel pursuing the Online Marketing program.
