The WVU Center for Free Enterprise is hosting a Summer Empirical Workshop, welcoming applications from advanced undergraduate and graduate students that aim to broaden their empirical research skills.

The summer workshop will provide introductory courses and short courses in:

  • Web scraping
  • Advanced issues in econometrics
  • Constructing and conducting experimental and survey research
  • Intro to programming in R

Courses will be taught by Drs. Bryan McCannon and Adam Nowak and will give workshop participants the empirical skills needed to develop new research questions.

A travel, lodging and meal allowance will be offered to workshop attendees. Workshop schedule TBD.
