Resume Review Sessions

January 16 & 27*; February 26 | 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. | B&E 3 rd Floor Atrium

Drop by these open sessions and fine-tune your resume with the help of recruiters and HR professionals. Students in need of a detailed review or those who need help creating an initial resume should schedule an appointment via Handshake.

*The session on January 27 will run from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Mock Interview Days

January 22 & 23 | Various Time Options | Center for Career Development

Mock Interview Days gives students the opportunity to participate in interviews with HR professionals from top organizations while gaining valuable feedback and networking with industry experts.

How to Work a Career Fair Workshop

January 27 | 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. | Ming Hsieh Hall, G21

The perfect handshake. A compelling elevator pitch. A well-tailored suit. These are just a few of the things that will help students to navigate a career fair. Learn networking tips from employers along with students who landed an internship from a previous career fair.

John Chambers College of Business and Economics Career Fair

January 28 | 1 :00 to 5:00 p.m. | Student Recreation Center

All Chambers College students—freshmen through graduate—are encouraged to attend the career fair to connect with employers from a variety of industries. Attendees will have the chance to meet potential employers, seek on-site interviews, and build their professional network.

STEM Career & Internship Fair

January 29 | 10 :00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. | Student Recreation Center

The STEM Career Fair connects employers with students who are seeking internships, co-ops, or full-time opportunities in engineering, computer science, or safety management. MIS, Supply Chain, and MBA students are highly encouraged to attend this event as well as the Chambers College Career Fair (though all students are welcome).

JCPenney Suit-Up Event

February 9 | 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. | JCPenney at the Morgantown Mall

Shop exclusive discounts on career and professional attire. Purchase suits, dresses, sport coats, pants, skirts, blouses, ties and shoes to build a career wardrobe.

WVU Career & Internship Fair

February 20 | 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. | Mountainlair Ballrooms

The WVU Career & Internship Fair hosts employers from diverse industries, non-profits, government, and military branches. Students will have the opportunity to meet with potential employers, seek on-site interviews and network with professionals.

Eaton Professional Image Dinner

April 8 | 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. | Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place

Connect with employers. Enjoy a delicious meal. Learn to network like a pro.

At this event, you will hears tips for navigating business dinners, networking events, and interview scenarios. You will also learn the different between smart casual, business casual, and professional.
