WV Internship Program
Building Talent Pipelines Between Students and Careers in WV.
The WV Internship Program partners with public and private sector employers to create new internships and promote existing opportunities, helping students launch full-time careers in West Virginia after graduation. The program increases post-graduation retention, supports workforce development, strengthens university-employer partnerships, and provides students with valuable career experiences.
A full-time WV Internship Program Director, funded through the generosity of an anonymous donor, works closely with WVU leadership, state agencies, and private sector partners to ensure the program's success and continuous improvement. Housed in the Chambers College of Business and Economics, the program supports students and employers across disciplines.
