Academic Mindset for Success Program

The Academic Mindset for Success Program is an academic support system offered to all students in the John Chambers College of Business and Economics and is required for students who are not in good academic standing. The overall goal of the program is to empower students to excel academically and reach their optimal academic potential. The program is designed to promote effective academic practices and behaviors through a student-centered approach.

A student with an overall grade point average (GPA) below 2.0 will be placed on academic notice or academic probation and may be subject to suspension. Any current student on academic notice or probation can raise their overall GPA to avoid academic suspension. All students not currently in good academic standing are required to complete Mid-year Academy. Please view the probation and suspension policies

Students will be contacted by the Chambers College’s Ms. Marlenea Brand with information about how to participate. Learn more about Academic Success Consultations.
