Mid-Year Academy

The online Mid -Year Academy (MYA) is the first step for John Chambers College students on academic notice or academic probation. This module is designed to connect you to student support services including academic tutoring, academic success consultations, and supportive academic advising. It will also explain important topics like the D/F repeat policy and maintaining satisfactory academic progress for financial aid.

The goal of the online MYA is to place you on the pathway to good academic standing to help you persist to graduation. To keep us accountable to you, and you accountable to us, we expect you to enter into an academic standing agreement with the John Chambers College of Business and Economics. This agreement will stipulate your Fall 2024 course schedule, support services geared toward your individual needs, resources to help you navigate the academic rigor of college, and benchmarks for achieving a minimum GPA of 2.0 to earn good academic status and to avoid academic suspension.

    • WHEN: As soon as possible, but no later than Thursday, August 1 st , 2024, 11:59 p.m.

    • IS IT REQUIRED? Yes, Chambers College requires all first-time freshmen on academic probation to complete MYA and the Academic Progress Survey.
