Meet the Firms, hosted in partnership with Beta Alpha Psi, allows employers to network with accounting, finance, and management information systems students seeking internships and full-time employment.

Mock Interview Week

September 9 & 10 | Various Time Options | Center for Career Development

Through individual mock interview sessions, employers will have the opportunity to help students improve their interview skills while increasing campus brand presence. Additionally, it’s an excellent way to initiate preliminary discussions regarding internships and full-time positions!

John Chambers College of Business and Economics Career Fair

September 11 | 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. | Student Recreation Center
Networking Reception: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. | Evansdale Crossing Building

The Chambers College Career Fair and Networking Reception will provide both students and employers with an opportunity to network and discuss internships and full-time positions. Majors include: accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing, human resources, information systems, global supply chain management, and more!

Statler College Career Fair

September 12 | 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. | Student Recreation Center

The Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources Career Fair will connect employers with students who are seeking internships, co-ops, or full-time opportunities in engineering, computer science, or safety management.

WVU Career & Internship Fair

September 25 | 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. | Mountainlair Ballrooms

The WVU Career & Internship Fair will host employers from diverse industries, non-profits, government, and military branches. Students will have the opportunity to meet with potential employers, seek on-site interviews, and network with professionals.

Professional Development Conference

October 25 | Mountainlair Ballrooms
Freshman and Sophomore Sessions – 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Junior, Senior, and Graduate Sessions – 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

The Professional Development Conference will prepare students to compete in a competitive global job market through a diverse line-up of speakers. Concurrent session topics will address the needs of freshman still formulating their career goals through seniors and graduate students getting ready to embark on their first full-time job. The majority of session speakers will be industry experts in the areas of career exploration, personal branding, building a professional network, interview skills and job search strategies.
