This two-week study abroad experience immerses students in business, technology, and culture across Japan’s most iconic cities. Beginning in Tokyo, students will explore districts such as Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Harajuku while visiting landmarks including the Meiji Shrine and Imperial Plaza. Professional site visits include global leaders like Kikkoman and Meiji Cocoa, where students will gain firsthand insights into product development, innovation, and international business strategy. The itinerary also features a student engagement session at a local university with Japanese peers.

The program continues with a trip to Mount Fuji and Lake Ashi, followed by high-speed bullet train travel to Hiroshima, where students will visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum and take a ferry to Miyajima Island. The final leg of the journey unfolds in Kyoto, with visits to Nijo Castle and the Golden Pavilion, as well as an excursion to Nara to see the Great Buddha at Todaji Temple and Japan’s famous bowing deer. Together, these academic, professional, and cultural experiences offer students a unique opportunity to connect classroom learning with global business practices, technological innovation, and rich cultural traditions.
