CRP Requirements

Based on various factors, class year, GPA, and availability within your schedule, you can choose to pursue to level that works for you. When you sign up for the CRP, you will indicate the status that you would like to go for this academic year. Please note that you're able to switch throughout the semester, but you still need to meet eligibility criteria of the new status.

CRP Recruit (Begins Spring Semester)

Get a head start on your professionalism and career preparedness! Information about CRP Recruit Introduction Sessions will be sent out in the beginning of the spring semester.

Eligibility:

  • 2nd Semester Freshman
  • Maintain 2.8 or higher cumulative GPA

Required Activities:

  • CCD Resume Approval
  • Handshake Profile Approval
  • One of the following:
    • 30-Minute Career Counseling Appointment
    • Practice Interview

Gold Status

Eligibility:

  • Sophomore, Junior, Senior
  • Maintain 2.8 or higher cumulative GPA

Required Activities:

  • CCD Resume Approval
  • Handshake Profile Approval
  • Attend a Career Fair
  • 1 activity from each NACE Competency List (8 competencies total)

Perks:

  • Lapel Pin
  • Eligible for Alumni Mentorship Program (Spring 2022)
  • Access to CRP exclusive events – Truist Emerging Leaders Certification, Adventure WV events, Job Shadows, etc.
  • Digital Badge for LinkedIn and email signature
  • Resume and Handshake designation

Platinum Status

Eligibility:

  • Sophomore, Junior, Senior
  • Maintain a 3.2 or higher cumulative GPA

Required Activities:

  • CCD Resume Approval
  • Handshake Profile Approval
  • LinkedIn Profile Approval
  • Attend a Career Fair
  • Alumni Mentorship (Spring 2022)
  • 1 activity from each NACE Competency List + 5 additional activities of your choice  (13 total competency events)

Perks:

  • Chambers College embossed padfolio
  • Priority access for Alumni Mentorship Program (Spring 2022)
  • First Access to CRP exclusive events – Truist Emerging Leaders Certification, Adventure WV events, Job Shadows, etc.

CRPro Status

Eligibility:

  • Senior enrolled in CRP for at least one (1) academic year and one (1) completed internship
  • Maintain a 2.8 or higher cumulative GPA

Required Activities:

  • Participate in one of the following:
    • Serve as a peer mentor
    • Serve on a panel (e.g. Chambers College Inspo for Interns)
    • Present in a classroom or student organization meeting about the CRP
    • LinkedIn/Social Media post
    • Video Testimonial

Perks:

  • Digital Badge for LinkedIn and email signature
  • Resume and Handshake designation
  • CRP Graduation Cords upon completion of the program
