While campus is not jam packed with students this summer, the hustle and bustle has not ceased for students, faculty and staff at the WVU College of Business and Economics. B&E folks are catalyzing – striving to build new skills and continuing to transform the business landscape as we head into the Fall 2017 semester.
As summer passes by, you probably won’t find Dr. Jodi Goodman in the classroom. But you can certainly find the WVU College of Business and Economics professor of management transforming the field as she works on her research.
West Virginia University recently hosted approximately 80 organizations from diverse
industries and locations at the Third Annual WVU Employer Summit. The event brings
to light the importance of partnering with the corporate world so that organizations
may interact with faculty leaders and recruiting specialists, as well as develop
opportunities for student internships and job placement.
The Employer Summit is organized by the West Virginia University Career Services Center, in collaboration with the College of Business and Economics, Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, and Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design.
