How would you describe Amy Toscano? Engaged in her college experience – and embracing every opportunity that comes her way. A senior in global supply chain management at the John Chambers College of Business and Economics, Amy has found a passion for doing whatever she can to get others engaged in the organizations in which she is active. And there are many.

Originally from East Stroudsburg, Pa., Amy chose to become a Mountaineer – and that is a decision that she still celebrates, as it was the first step in opening the door to opportunities that fit her interests and strengths.

He says he has a hard time saying where his home base is between North Carolina and West Virginia. That’s because Avery Gunter has found a love for his home of 10 years in Morgantown.

Avery is a senior double-major in finance and accounting, and as his life outside of college is about to begin, he finds himself busier than ever, whether it’s going to Cooper’s Rock to hike or attending on-campus lectures between classes.

With her freshman year now behind her, business major Madelyn Oberschmidt has already proven that she will be an outstanding student in the John Chambers College of Business and Economics — all while being an athlete.

Madelyn Oberschmidt hails from Wilmington, Delaware, but it didn’t take her long to figure out where she fits in Morgantown, West Virginia. 

With a true passion in her multiple areas of study, Katherine Rexroad has been hooked on West Virginia University’s idea of thinking big since the beginning of her college career.

Hailing from Clarksburg, W.Va., Katherine is a junior in accounting and management information systems, while also minoring in data analytics. And she readily admits that she attributes her passion for her studies to WVU and the John Chambers College of Business and Economics.

Khadidja Diouf has taken to heart the idea of being a leader of tomorrow. And what she’s experiencing at the John Chambers College of Business and Economics will help make her an even better leader.

Khadidja also dedicates her time to being a Chambers Ambassador, a member of Delta Sigma Pi, a Neidermeyer Scholar, a Milan Puskar Leadership Scholar, a research assistant, and a Diversity Ambassador for the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

West Virginia University has been named a Top University Sales Program for the eighth consecutive year by the Sales Education Foundation. The SEF “Top Universities for Professional Sales Education” has designated West Virginia University’s Professional Sales Institute, located in the John Chambers College of Business and Economics, as one of the top sales schools in the world.

The listing highlights the top sales programs at higher education institutions that include 134 schools in North America and 16 international schools. The SEF does not provide a numerical ranking for each school. 

Paul Coffy bleeds gold and blue through and through — aside from his military colors, of course. As he pursues a M.S. Business Cybersecurity Management degree, this Erie, Pennsylvania, native has established a strong foundation for a bright future in his chosen program.

Paul is an Electronic Warfare Sergeant for the West Virginia Army National Guard at Camp Dawson near Kingwood, West Virginia. As an Operational Cyber Security Analyst, he chose the cybersecurity master’s program after realizing his satisfaction in aiding the public in protecting themselves from malicious actors. And he has recognized the high demand for cybersecurity positions in a world overflowing with technology.
