Confronting Sustainability: Business Honors Students Make Waves in International Case Competition

A team of five Business Honors students at Chambers made an impression against dozens of universities in an international business ethics competition.

Hosted by Los Angeles-based Loyola Marymount University in April, the 2026 International Business Ethics and Sustainability Case Competition had 59 teams from 41 universities across seven countries participate.

The competition saw teams of students attempt to rationalize real-world business challenges involving an ethical and sustainability dilemma, such as the environmental or supply chain impacts of an industry.

On Saturday, May 16, 668 Chambers students received their diplomas at the WVU Hope Coliseum.

Each student faced their own unique challenges leading up to graduation, but all conquered them to reach this milestone.

Cayleigh Pennington has had her sights set on hospitality since before she came to Chambers.

From Harrison County, Pennington was an active student during high school. She was part of several organizations and clubs, and with that came the responsibility of planning multiple events like prom, homecoming, and fundraisers. Through those experiences, she came to focus her sights on the hospitality industry.

A lover of hockey from Columbus, Ohio, Cuvo is graduating as an Entrepreneurship and Innovation major. The title of his major perfectly describes his path to success.
