On August 26, 2025, the West Virginia Business Hall of Fame inducted four leaders in the fields of investment, construction and manufacturing as members of its 2025 cohort:
C. Lynch Christian III – president of Oakwood Holdings Inc.
Art and Virginia King – owners of Kanawha Stone Company Inc.
Louis Weisberg – president and CEO of Service Wire Company
The West Virginia Business Hall of Fame is hosted by the John Chambers College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University. The induction ceremony is held in partnership with the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Business Summit, which convenes annually at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV.
Created by the Chambers College in 2001, the West Virginia Business Hall of Fame honors people with strong West Virginia ties who have made a significant impact on the business landscape. The 2025 cohort brings the total number of inductees to 90.
“This year’s inductees are examples of the quality leadership that inspires professionals everywhere,” said Josh Hall, Milan Puskar Dean of the Chambers College. “Their integrity, dedication and business acumen are representative of the best our state has to offer. I'm grateful that we had the opportunity to honor them for their outstanding careers in their respective fields.”
