Professor of Management Ed Tomlinson and Associate Professor of Accounting Kip Holderness had their research paper, "Adding fuel to the fire: How non-contingent bonuses relate to entitlement and affect pursuit of worker self-interest” accepted for publication in the Journal of Forensic Accounting Research, which is an A-level journal on the Accounting department list. They partnered with Utah Valley Associate Professor of Accounting Kari Olsen on their paper.

Management

Associate Professor of Management Xiaoxiao Hu had her research paper, “Thinking about thinking about work: A meta-analysis of off-job positive and negative work-related thoughts” accepted for publication in the Journal of Business and Psychology, which is an A-level journal in management.

Assistant Professor of Management Kayla Follmer had her research paper, “Work and suicide: an interdisciplinary systematic literature review” accepted for publication in the Journal of Organizational Behavior, which is an A-level journal in management.

Marketing

Recent marketing PhD graduate Mohammad Sakif Amin was named recipient of the American Marketing Association Sales Special Interest Group's 2021 Dissertation Award. Mohammad's dissertation, "Hard Work Beats Talent, Unless Talent Works Hard: Exploring the Relationship Between Self-Efficacy and Sales Performance" was directed by Marketing Professor Jody Crosno. Amin accepted a faculty position at Western Michigan University.
